Link Network Solutions Inc headed by its President, Rhoniel Mahusay, and Operations Manager, Heide Buensalida created an exciting summer escapade last March 29, 2016. The annual summer escapade happened in one of the best beaches in the Philippines – Boracay.
The excitement was palpable as each and everyone took their seats in the plane aboard Cebu Pacific Airlines. Everyone was in their best mood and excited to enjoy the three (3) day vacation.
Arriving at Kalibo International Airport, we were fetched by a service van and taken to a port to ride a ferry boat going to the island of Boracay. Enjoying the view and the refreshing sea breeze, we arrived at the island and further rode a small cab that brought us to the hotel – La Carmela de Boracay.
Drinks were served and after a few minutes, we were ushered to our respective rooms. Everyone was so excited and went to stroll, feeling the white sand against our feet. It was a great stroll seeing the beautiful people and visitors of Boracay.
Anyone who has visited Boracay will tell you that it comes alive at night. Indeed, it was livelier than ever with fire dancers tantalizing the guests and onlookers. Drinks were pouring in for a great relaxing experience.
The next day, everyone gathered at the beach waiting for our guide for an exciting island hopping experience combined with a banana boat ride. Everyone enjoyed the banana boat as some of the employees were thrown off the banana boat (of course with life vests on) because of the speed of the motorboat that tugs it.
The excitement did not end there, for we were taken to a small ferry docked in the middle of the sea to try and sink with an air helmet and enjoy the beautiful fishes underwater. It was both an exciting and enriching experience – one would not easily forget.
After a quick lunch, the ferry toured us around nearby islands to enjoy the water, the sand, and the view. At a specific place near an island, we docked and did some snorkeling. Everyone was laughing and having a good time but like all good things, we later returned to our respective rooms and prepared for our trip back to Manila.

It was a great time for summer. Hopefully next year, God willing, it will be a more exciting and fun-filled annual summer recreation.
